¼ tsp to ½ teaspoon Dave’s Hurtin Habañero Hot Sauce
2 ripe Hass avocados
1 clove garlic, grated
1 green onion, minced
1 jalapeño, de-seeded and de-veined, minced
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon cilantro, minced
salt and freshly cracked black pepper
1. In a mixing bowl, mash avocados with a fork until the texture is chunky.
2. Add garlic, green onion, jalapeño, lime juice and cilantro and mix to incorporate, while maintaining the same chunky consistency.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste and then add Hurtin Habañero Sauce, 1/4 of a teaspoon at a time. Stir after each teaspoon is incorporated and desired heat level is reached. Makes approximately 1½ cups.
