The People’s Food Movement is dedicated to the premise that you should Take Back Your Food by deciding what food you eat, what food gets produced, what goes into the food that is produced, and where that food is sold. While the Movement can’t completely control all of this, it aims to do what it can.

  1. Membership - To sign up as a member you just need to go online and fill out an online application at www.peoplesfoodmovement.com . The qualifications for membership are that you must be a citizen of some sort of country, have a strong interest in food, and have a desire to Take Back Your Food. Odds of being accepted as a member are much better if you grease some palms. We will notify all applicants of their status within two weeks of receiving their application. If accepted you become a Member of the People’s Food Movement (Member).
  2. Creators – A certain group of Members will choose to submit food product ideas to the Movement. Members that do this and include a sample and formula/recipe become eligible to be a Creator. Creators are people whose items are accepted and produced by the movement. If someone wants to become a creator, they should submit a sample, formula and product submission form (available on the website). Before doing so they should consult the guidelines on product submission. After receiving samples at the movement office the member will be notified that the sample has been received. Also, at that time the member will be notified if the product is similar to one that has been or is currently being considered by the Movement and/or Dave’s Gourmet, Inc. Within 6-8 weeks the member will be notified if the product has been accepted by the movement. Members will have input as to which products are accepted, but the final decision is in the hands of the movement’s management.
  3. Other Contributions – Members also are encouraged to recommend the Movement’s products to friends, enemies, strangers, and people who are strange. Members who don’t have an item to contribute, but have some sort of idea are welcome to suggest that. It won’t qualify for the Creator’s program, but is appreciated and may qualify members to win a great prize. Dave’s Gourmet will award prizes at their discretion to certain Members who suggest great ideas.
  4. Benefits - Profits from the Movement’s products will be divided equally between the Members (1/3rd), Dave’s Gourmet (1/3rd) and the Creator of the Product (1/3rd). Profits are defined as 5% of Gross Sales less returns and credits. After three years from the launch of any particular product the profits will go 100% to Dave’s Gourmet, Inc. Aside from monetary compensation members receive pride of knowing that they are making a difference, ego boosting pride at being part of a really cool group, and a chance at winning prizes.
  5. Reporting – Each Calendar quarter royalties will be calculated and a report will be issued to members or posted on the Movement’s site. This report will detail sales of Movement products, returns, credits, and royalties. Once a Member and/or Creator is owed $25 or more in royalties, a check will be issued to that person. Until that time the money they are owed can be used as a credit to purchase products from the Movement and/or Dave’s Gourmet.
  6. Conduct – There will be a standard of conduct for the Movement. This requires that all members stay out of prison, don’t sell out to the man... and brush their teeth at least weekly.
  7. Changes - The rules and policies of the TPFM are subject to change at any time without notice.
